Treat Your Mouth to Better Tasting Spring Water
Treat Your Mouth to Better Tasting Spring Water

You already know that your body needs water to survive. That means you are going to drink it one way or another. So why not give your body something that is not only good for it but also tastes great as well? Why not treat your mouth to better tasting spring water?

Like everything else we put in our mouths, water has a taste profile. Our palettes distinguish different tastes based on what is in the water. So drink water with a lot of good stuff in it and you might just decide that it's the best tasting water you ever had.

A better taste is one reason so many of our customers prefer spring water delivered in reusable glass water jugs. You get the taste profile nature intended with nothing else.

Spring Water Is Slightly Sweet

Spring water that goes directly from the ground into a glass bottle should offer a crisp, refreshing, and slightly sweet flavor. Don't worry. The sweetness isn't from any sugar content. Instead, it results from the minerals found in natural underground springs.

Minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium give spring water a slightly sweet and full-bodied taste then you can actually feel in your mouth. And of course, there is some variability. Some spring waters feel smoother in the mouth. Others are less sweet and a bit saltier. It really depends on the source spring.

Distilled Water Is Flat

Distilled water tastes distinctly different. In fact, it is flat. It offers a neutral taste that can be hard to identify just because it lacks the minerals found in natural spring water. It's highly unlikely that your taste buds will do a dance with a glass of distilled water. There's nothing in the water to get them excited.

Mineral Water Has a Stronger Flavor

Mineral water is similar to spring water, with one notable exception: its flavor tends to be quite a bit stronger. Why? Because of a higher concentration of minerals like sodium chloride and magnesium. Mineral water can taste decidedly salty.

The significant difference is that mineral water must retain its original mineral composition to meet regulations. So you are getting water with a fuller body and more flavor. Many people find it to be too much.

Tap Water Is Anyone's Guess

All of that brings us to tap water. As far as taste profiles go, tap water is anyone's guess. Tap water's taste profile depends heavily on the local municipality and on how it treats the potable water supply. Some tap waters might taste a lot like chlorine, while others can have a slightly metallic taste. But really, do you want all that extra stuff in your drinking water.

Delicious Water in Glass Bottles

We could opt to use plastic bottles for our spring water delivery service. We choose not to. Instead, we use glass water jugs that get washed, sanitized, and refilled indefinitely. Here is the best part: glass doesn't alter the taste of the water.

Spring water delivery in plastic bottles is different. Plastic can change the taste. Plastic can even add to water's taste profile by shedding microplastics during transport. As long as you're going to drink water anyway, it might just as well taste good, right?

We invite you to try fresh, pure spring water from a glass bottle. If it is not the best-tasting water you've ever put in your mouth, we would be surprised. We specialize in glass bottle delivery service because we believe spring water transported in glass bottles is best for your health and taste buds.
