If you get the water dispenser you really need to also get the lid. It's a match!
The lid is fine just hard to grab because the handle is so shallow, makes it difficult to grasp.
This lid is much better than the original. Now that the knob is all one piece of glass. My first lid , the glass knob was screwed in and that ultimately broke. I am very pleased with this new lid
The glass lid is very useful if you use the dispenser without a bottle on top. This may be the case when you want to put cucumber water, lemonade, iced tea, or some other beverage in the dispenser which we do occasionally with one of our dispensers when we have guests.
